The Hyundai Sonata Handles Itself Well

If you're looking for a reliable car to drive around on your daily adventures, consider the Hyundai Sonata. This mid-size sedan might make sense if you value safety, durability, and performance.

Under the hood on a standard Sonata, you'll find a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. It can generate 185 horsepower, which is certainly plenty for many of our customers at Gates Hyundai. Those who want a bit more in terms of power can opt for the turbocharged 2.0-liter engine, which gets 245 horsepower. The standard engine gets an estimated 25/33 (city/highway) miles per gallon, with the enhanced engine getting 23/32 mpg.

Those who wish to lower their carbon footprint can check out the Sonata Eco. This model comes with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that can output 178 horsepower. The main advantage to going this route is getting an estimated 28 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway.
